Thomas Porter Long, II

Thomas Porter Long, II of Lindside, WV, left to go be with his parents in Heaven after a sudden illness on February 7, 2023.  His parents were Dr. Thomas P. Long and Lula “Lou” Croye Long.  Porter grew up and started his family in Man, WV, then he left to return to his own piece of heaven on the family farm in Lindside, WV.

He is preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Melissa C. Long.  Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Brittany Daniels (Justin) and their 3 daughters, Callie, Caroline and Clair from Lithuanian, FL, his son, Dr. Caleb Long (Danyell) of Melbourne, FL, his brother, Michael Sullivan (Charlotte) of Oceania, WV, a life long friend, Mike Gravely, special cousin, Anne Chambers and many other friends and family.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 2pm the Givens - Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows, VA with Pastor Kevin Weaver officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Givens - Riffe Funeral Chapel 1 hour before the service from 1 - 2.  The family is being served by Givens - Rife Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com
