Ray Earl Shrader

Ray Earl Shrader, 74, of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg, VA.  Mr. Shrader was born on September 30, 1947 and was a son of the late Earl Shrader and Opal Mae Bowers Shrader.  He is survived by one daughter, Lara L. Widner (Brad) of Narrows, two brothers, Carl J. Shrader (Rhonda) of Christiansburg, Earl H. Shrader (Pam) of Christiansburg, two sisters, Betty O. Ferrell (Lenny) of Narrows, Maggie R. Mullins (Benny) of Narrows, two grandchildren, Kelly Ray Dent and Kellsy N. Lovell both of Narrows, one great grandson, Greyson Kyle Dent of Narrows, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows at 11am with the Rev. Lance McDaniel officiating with burial following in the Athens Cemetery, 507 Cemetery Rd., Princeton, WV 24740.  The family will receive friends at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
