Paula Deane (Blankenship) Taylor

Paula Deane Blankenship Taylor, 65 of Narrows, VA, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Paula was born on February 21, 1957, in Pearisburg, VA and was a daughter of the late Arberdeen Blankenship and Patty Ann Suttle.  Paula was a longtime owner and operator of Paula’s Cut & Curl in Rich Creek.  She spent her free time at her home away from home with all of her friends at Riverview Campground in Narrows.  She always looked forward to planting her garden and flowerbeds.  She also loved spending time with her family.  She is survived by, 2 sons, Chris E. Taylor (Stacey) of Narrows, Ryan M. Taylor of Narrows, 2 daughters, Shannon Leigh Hunter (Scott) of Norfolk, Rachael Ann Taylor (Tyler) of Pearisburg, 2 sisters, Pamela R. Barlow (Woody) of VA Beach, Penny Lynn Vanschoyck of Pearisburg, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her fur baby “Ben.”  Funeral services will be conducted, on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 12pm at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows, with the Rev Dr Fred L.
