Neva Odell (Clark) Millirons

Neva Odell Clark Millirons, 99, of Narrows Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2021.  Neva was born on July 30, 1921 in Bland County, Va and was a daughter of the late Dotson Edgar Clark and Bessie Clara Bivens Clark.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kester Millirons, a son, Ronald Gene Millirons, a daughter, Wilna Clara Millirons Lindsey, a grandson, Trevin Lane Millirons, a daughter in law, Jean Compton Millirons, 3 brothers, Paul Clark, Edgar Clark, Lester Clark,  and 1 sister, Pansy Clark Robertson.  Neva was a member of Hales Chapel United Methodist Church, Wolf Creek and attended faithfully for most of her life.  In recent years, she attended United We Stand Ministries, Rich Creek with her son and family.  Neva was a farmer’s wife, mother, homemaker and mamaw to many.  One of her greatest joys was to give a big hug to all and make sure everyone was fed.  She is survived by two sons, William Wendell Millirons (Nancy) of Narrows, John Edgar Millirons (Brenda) of Rocky Mount, a son in law, William “Bill”  Lindsey of Narrows, 6 grandchildren, William Morgan Millirons (Janet), Hollie Millirons Ferguson (Stan), William Todd Lindsey (Jennifer), Heather Lindsey Williams, Germaine Millirons Mommerency (Eric), Justin Millirons, 13 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, and two special ladies that she considered her daughters as well, Marie Conley Hamilton and Inez Burton Lester.  A celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 3 pm at the Givens-Riffe Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ricky Green officiating with burial following in the Millirons Family Cemetery, Wolf Creek.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30-3:00 pm before the service.  We will be observing COVID-19 precautions, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.  Memorial donations may be made to Hales Chapel United Methodist Church or Wolf Creek Ruritan.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Ser­vice in Narrows, VA.
