Nathanael (Nate) James Ellison, Sr., 26 of Christiansburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.  Nathanael was born on April 29, 1994 in Aurora, CO and was a son of Kevin Michael Ellison and the late Stacy Lee Baugh.  Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Raymond James Ellison. Nate was a Maintenance Tech at Terrace View Apartments in Blacksburg.  He was loved by many, was an amazing man, provider, son, father, brother and friend.  His time on earth was cut too short, he will be remembered, missed and loved by many.  He is survived by his wife, Emma Rae Havens Ellison of Narrows, one son, Nathanael James Ellison, Jr. of Pearisburg, Fiance, Alesia H. Moorefield of Christiansburg, one daughter, Natailee Jean Ellison of Christiansburg, unborn daughter, Raygen James Ellison, three step-children, Zoey, Jaxson, Mason, four sisters, Sarah Loretta Baugh, Fallon Meshell Minor, Alexis Leigh Voss all of CO. and Ashley Harper of Peterstown, WV, three brothers, Nolan Shoemaker of Pembroke, Peter Frazine of Grand Rapids, MI, Alan Joel Southern of Christiansburg and many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel at 2pm with Pastor Chandler Jones officiating .  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service from 1 – 2 pm.  We will be observing COVID-19 precautions, please wear a mask.    The family is being served by Givens - Riffe Funeral Ser­vice in Narrows, VA.
