Nancy Lula (Smith) Riddle

Nancy Lula Smith Riddle, 80 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her home.  Nancy was born on June 3, 1942, in Oakvale, WV and was a daughter of the late Samuel Dayton Smith and Amanda Melvina Brinkley.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, Timothy Dayton Riddle, 2 brothers, J.E. Smith and J.R. Smith and 1 sister, Thelma Jean Perkins.  Nancy was a graduate of Narrows High School and was a longtime employee and retired from AEP in Glyn Lyn, VA.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed her camper on the river where she and her family and friends would stay on weekends.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Billie Riddle Nunley (Anthony) of Narrows, Teresa Riddle of Narrows, 1 son, Terry Melvin Riddle of Cohoes, NY, 2 brothers, Allen Smith of Narrows, Tony Smith of N.C., 2 sisters, Lois Riddle (Bill) of Narrows, Marie Rorrer of Rich Creek, 4 grandchildren, Tashauana Marie Condrey, Amber Nichole Taylor, Josh Riddle, Alicia Riddle, 7 great grandchildren, Chris Lambert, Alexis Lambert, Anora Condrey, Oden Taylor, Jordan Payne, Xander Ward, Skylar Holland and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1pm at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel with burial following in the Oakvale Cemetery in Oakvale, WV.  The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel 1 hour before the service from 12 – 1pm.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
