Mary Lou (St. Clair) McGuire

Mary Lou McGuire from Glen Lyn, 54, departed to her heavenly home Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Mary was born on January 23, 1970, in Pearisburg. She was the daughter of Alvin and Christine St Clair from Pearisburg. When able to Mary attended the Peterstown Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by both parents.

Mary loved her family and Jesus more than anything in this world. She kept fighting against cancer for the love of her beloved husband, kids, and grandsons.

Left to cherish her memory are her Husband Dennis McGuire of Glen Lyn, her children Alvin McGuire, Ryan and McKayla McGuire, and Kristina McGuire; Grandchildren Lane McGuire, Xavier, and Anakin Murphy; Sister Linda and Keith Allen of Peterstown, WV; brothers Jerry and Daisy St. Clair, Donald and Patricia St. Clair, and David and Angelia St. Clair; special friends Sherry McGuire, Heather Ferral, and Barbara Robertson. 

While honoring Mary’s wishes no funeral services will be held but a Celebration of Life will be held at Peterstown Pentecostal Church on October 19, 2024, at 5pm with Pastor Jeff Furrow officiating.
