Margaret Burks Spangler, 91 of Pearisburg VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 24, 2024.  Margaret was born on January 22, 1933, in Hinton, WV and was a daughter of the late Paul Burks and Lettie Lucille Mann Burks.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Sartin and her husband Marvin, brother Richard Burks and a sister, Marian Elmore.                                                                                                  

Margaret (Granny) loved spending time in the sunshine, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Mitzi Crosier (Paul) of Fairlawn, 2 sons, Brian Spangler (Cindy) of Narrows, Chris Spangler of Alligator Point, FL, 1 brother, James Burks (Mary) of Pine Grove, WV and 5 grandchildren, Allison Baker (Dean), Wes Sartin (Shana), Cody Sartin, Brandon Spangler (Meaghan), Zach Spangler (Kara) and 1 great granddaughter, Charleigh Baker.

The family will have a private memorial service in the coming days.
