Linda Faye (Martin) Wilson

Linda Faye Martin Wilson, 80 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at her home.  Mrs. Wilson was born on August 8, 1939 in Narrows and was a daughter of the late Roy Earnest Martin and Ruth Iretta Owens Robertson Martin.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Berly Richard Wilson, Sr. and two sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Martin Smith and Jacqueline Martin Trent.  Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Christian Church in Narrows and was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. with 38 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, telling stories of her childhood memories and taking care of her dog Oscar.  She is survived by one son, Berly Richard “Ricky” Wilson, Jr (Susie) of Princeton, WV, two daughters, Rhonda Lynn Robertson (James A.) of Rich Creek, Cathy Ann Yopp (Paul) of Narrows, three grandchildren, April Wilson of Narrows, Megan Stowers of Narrows, Tyler Yopp of Narrows and three great grandchildren, Sarah Cumbee, Britney Epling, Ethan Epling and special friend Betty Smith.  Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2pm at the First Christian Church in Narrows with Pastor James W. McDaniel officiating with burial following in the Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Home in Narrows Thursday evening from 6 - 8 pm.  The family is being served by Givens-Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
