Linda (Meredith) Frazier

Linda Meredith Frazier, 81, of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Heritage Hall Rich Creek, Va.  Linda was born on September 20, 1940, in Narrows and was a daughter of the late Frankie Miller Meredith and Helen Emaline Wilkerson Meredith.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard T. Cook and two brothers, Timothy W. Meredith and Larry M. Meredith and sister-in-law, Patty H. Meredith.  Linda was a member of the New Valley Fellowship Church in Narrows.  She loved the Lord and the fellowship at her church.  She loved her family more than anything in this world.  She loved to dance and laugh, loved Elvis music and loved her dogs, Ricky, Addie and Maddy.  She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Wayne Frazier of Narrows, two daughters, Kristy Ann Cook of Narrows, Bridget Frazier Newby (Russell) of Narrows, two sons, Russell Eugene Cook (Martha) of VA Beach, Sonny Wayne Frazier (Tammy) of Narrows, one sister, Dreama Darlene Hale (Snake) of Narrows, 12 grandchildren, Kandice Frazier Whittaker (Mac), Brittany Cook Kane (Blake), Richard T. Cook II (Emily), William Robert Cook (Brittany), Elizabeth Cook Sabo (Ryan), Ryan Matthew Cook (Regan), Justin Christopher Cook, Sydney Justyne Fields, Laney Nichole Newby, Hailey Frazier Gillespie, William Hunter Frazier, Trey Robert Frazier, 10 great grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews and special friends, Bill and Lois Riddle, Doug and Carolyn Kirby, John and Penny Mills, Johnny and Kathy Meredith and her church family.  Because of Covid-19 and our father’s health, a private Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 2pm at the New Valley Fellowship Church in Narrows with Pastor Kevin Weaver officiating with burial following at Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.  The family would like to thank all of our family and friends for the love and prayers throughout the years.  Keep dancing Mom, we love you.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
