Joyce Faye Gray Lindsey, 76 of Narrows, VA., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Heritage Hall Blacksburg.  She was a daughter of the late Robert Frank Gray and Alma Jean French.  FUNERAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY AT 1PM BECAUSE OF WEATHER.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Earl Lindsey, 2 sisters, Bonnie Gray and Dreama Gray, daughter-in-law, Glenda Lindsey, 3 brothers-in-law, Ross Lindsey, Carl Lindsey, Howard Lindsey and sister-in-law, Darlene Lindsey.

Joyce was a self-employed custodian working at many businesses including the Narrows Post Office, First Virginia Bank in Narrows and Rich Creek, Celco Credit Union in Narrows and several other businesses and individual houses.  She enjoyed decorating her house for the different seasons, shopping, eating out with her family and friends and would help anyone in need.

She is survived by, one daughter, Lisa Faye Lindsey Rice (Thomas Eugene Rice) of Pembroke, one son, Earl Dwayne Lindsey (Erin) of Pearisburg, 2 sisters-in-law, Katherine Lindsey of Pearisburg, Doris Lindsey of Pembroke, three grandchildren, Breanna Rice (Madyson Spears), Megan Rice and Thomas Rice all of Pembroke, great grandson, Mayson Carter Spears, numerous nieces and nephews and special lifelong friend, Francis Louise Havens.

 Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1pm at the Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg with the Rev.
