Jimmy Franklin Fleeman, 83, of Bluefield, WV, formerly of Narrows, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, December 21, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Jimmy was born on August 31, 1942, in Giles County, VA and was a son of the late Clarence Edward Fleeman and Lorene Ida Fleeman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bud Fleeman, his sister Betty Morse, and stepson Mark Ellison.
Jimmy proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He also previously worked for Dupont in Richmond, VA.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Ann Barrett Fleeman of Bluefield, WV, his sons Clarence Patrick Fleeman and wife Marie, of Bastian, VA, and Kurt Edward Fleeman and wife Melissa, of Princeton, WV, stepson Bryan Ellison and wife Kristen, of Goodview, VA, and stepson Larry Ellison of Bluefield. Four grandchildren Crysta Mullis, Hunter Fleeman, Hannah Wingler, and Abigayle Fleeman. Five great grandchildren Charlie, Nikolai, Lena and Ezra Mullis, and Jocelyn Fleeman, his sweet pea, and his sister, Lois Tabor, of Narrows, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 1pm at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows, VA, with burial following in the Angels Rest Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel 1 hour before the service, from 12 – 1pm
