Jerry Allen Shrader

Jerry Allen Shrader, 67 of Peterstown, WV, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem.  Jerry was born on January 4, 1956, in Giles County, VA and was a son of Opal Geneva Dalton Shrader and the late John Allen Shrader.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alieen Sue Morris Shrader and a brother, David Phillip Shrader.

Jerry was a graduate of Narrows High School.  He worked as an electrical lineman and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #70.  He loved the outdoors, fishing and riding his 4- wheeler, and watching westerns was his passion.

Besides his mother, left to cherish his memory are, Jerry Allen Shrader, Jr. of Narrows, Leon Allen Shrader of Peterstown, WV, 2 sisters, Sandra K. Fredman (Carl) of Martinsburg, WV, Betty Lou Shrader of Narrows, 2 grandchildren, Payton Shrader and Mason Shrader and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the 3pm at the Givens - Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor Ward Harris officiating with burial following in the Shrader – Conley Cemetery up Wolf Creek (Narrows).  The family will receive friends at the chapel 2 hours before the service from 1 – 3 pm.
