Inez Ganoe Cumbee

Inez Ganoe Cumbee, 88 of Rich Creek, passed away Sunday, December 24th, 2017 at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek.

A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on July 18th, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Huston James Ganoe and Hattie Belle Archie Ganoe. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Frank Junior Cumbee; and three brothers, Richard Lee Ganoe, James Ganoe, and Bub Ganoe.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Bill Cumbee and wife Debbie of Swords Creek, Virginia, Clarence Cumbee and wife Brenda of Rich Creek, Tim Cumbee and wife Bonnie of Rich Creek; a daughter, Gail Winters and husband Glen of Blacksburg; eleven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Lilly Ganoe of Chesterfield, Virginia; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends, including Lewis Anderson of Covington, Virginia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 28th, 2017 at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rich Creek. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
