Frances Spicer Hudson, 76 of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly passed away peacefully in the arms of our Lord Thursday, May 15th, 2014 at Genesis Healthcare Cromwell Center.

She was born in Pearisburg, Virginia on October 27th, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Henry William and Virginia Lane Wall Spicer. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Charles Ellis Hudson; and her brother, Maury Spicer.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Tammy Hudson Kincaid and Paula Hudson Wolfe; sons-in-law, Jack Kincaid and Tony Wolfe; three granddaughters, Amy, Andrea and Autumn; Amy's husband, Brent; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Brody; two brothers, Elmer Spicer and wife Ruth of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Jim Spicer of Pearisburg; two sisters, Doris Burton of Narrows and Rebecca Spicer of Pulaski; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be missed by her companion, Blair Cummins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19th, 2014 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows, Virginia, with Pastor Douglas Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service Monday from 10 AM until just prior to the service.
