Ervin Allen Myers, 71 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital at Blacksburg, VA after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and diabetes.  Ervin was born on March 3, 1948 in Giles County, VA and was a son of the late Willard Harvey Myers and Martha Virginia Croy Myers.  Allen was a lifelong resident of Giles County and was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. in Narrows with 30 years of service.  He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish, and knew almost every inch of Northfork mountain.  He also loved to play the guitar and sing to Hank Williams, Sr’s songs.  He is survived by one son, Timothy Allen Myers of Narrows, longtime loving companion, Cindy M. Meadows of Lindside, WV. his cat, Pockets, his dog Sammy and Timmy’s dog Tacoma.   Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11am at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor Jim Hagy officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.  The family will receive friends at Givens – Riffe Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 – 8pm.  Memorial donations may be made to Mountain View Ministries, P.O.
