Donald Ray Shrader

Donald Ray Shrader, 70 of Rich Creek, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020 at his home.  Donald was born on April 4, 1950 in Bluefield, WV and was a son of Audrey Angela Gibson Shrader and the late Hiram Watha Shrader.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Dean Combs.  Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired employee of Fairchild International in Glen Lyn.  He loved the outdoors, baseball, cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals, WVU football and was an avid collector of oldies music, especially the Rolling Stones.  He is survived by his wife, of 33 years, Judy Kay Mann Shrader of Rich Creek, step-son, Brandon Nicholas Mann of Pembroke, one sister, Anita Shrader Blaydes of Bluefield, WV, special friend of many years, Dwight Zutaut and loving yorkie, Mimi.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held, Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1pm at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor W. R. Johnston officiating with burial following in the Shrader Cemetery in Niday, VA.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
