Darrell Mennen Myers

Darrell Mennen Myers, 64 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Darrell was born on May 3, 1958, in Pearisburg and was a son of the late William Jackson Myers and Hazel Wilson Myers Hall.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Gail Goad Myers and his cherished dog Winston.  Darrell worked construction and drove a truck for most of his life.  He loved the outdoors and especially hunting.  Left to cherish his memory are 7 daughters, Chasity Blankenship (Jerrod) of Narrows and Brittany Sexton (Michael Hinkle) of Belair, MD, Ashley Myers Neice (Michael) of Ballard, WV, Brittney Myers of TN, Dawn Myers of Narrows, Elizabeth Blassingame of Narrows, Cherokee Golembiewski (Mike) of Erie, PA; 2 sons, Jason Sexton (Sandy) of Narrows and Timmy Williams (Crystal) of Narrows; many grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, William Alex Myers (Debbie) of Millers Creek, NC, DeWayne Myers (Sandra) of Wolf Creek; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 2pm in the Givens - Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor Kevin Brinegar officiating with burial following in the Wilson Family Cemetery in Staffordsville.
