Charles Avery Lucas

Charles Avery Lucas, 59 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2021 at Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, VA. with his family by his side.  He was born on September 1, 1961 in Pearisburg and was the son of the late Charles Edward Lucas and Elizabeth Saunders Lucas.  He is survived by two sons, Michael D. Lucas of Pembroke and Kenneth Broyles and fiancé’ Natasha of Rich Creek, one granddaughter, Meredith Lucas of Pembroke, one brother, Tim and sister-in-law, Lisa Lucas of Mobile, AL, three sisters, Gail Millner of Narrows, Crissy and brother-in-law Bryan Frazier of Peterstown, WV, Ginger Smith of Narrows, three nephews, four nieces, five grand nieces, numerous cousins and a special life-long friend, Greek Blankenship.  A memorial service will be held at Givens-Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 3pm with Charles Henderson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm prior to the memorial service.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
