Cecil Melvin Stables, 86 of Narrows, VA passed away on June 11, 2024.  Cecil was a son of the late Amos Stables and Edith Thomas Stables.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Cecil was employed at the Radford Arsenal for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Stables, children, Hunter Stables, Wendy Tiller, Dewayne Stables (Fiance Denise), Mike Stables, Wilma Sparks, step-children, Randy Williams (Joanne), Terry Williams, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 1 – 3pm at the Givens – Riffe Celebration Room located at 114 Northview St in Narrows, behind the funeral home.
