Cathy Riddle Gentry, 50 of Narrows passed away Monday, December 9th, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born on March 19th, 1963 to the late Nannie C. Buckland Fleshman Riddle. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Riddle, and a sister, Barbara F. Jones.
She adored being a nana to her four grandsons, and riding her Harley. Cathy never met a stranger. She was employed at Federal Mogul in Blacksburg.
Left to cherish her memory are husband, Dean Gentry; two sons, C.J. Scott and Bill Scott (Becky); four grandsons, James, Tyler, Blake and Kaleb Scott; six brothers and sisters, Ed Fleshman (Cindy), Bugs Riddle (Sue), Ronnie Riddle, Marsha Meadows Vicki Vaught (Joe), Jamie Riddle (Edna); one uncle, Lewis Buckland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many really close friends.
The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 from 6 to 9 PM. At her request, she will be cremated following the visitation.
