Burley Edward "Eddie" Mullins

Burley Edward (Eddie) Mullins, 72 of Narrows, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 9th, 2015.

He was born on March 20th, 1943, and was the son of the late Roy Lester and Helen Louise Cawley Mullins. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny Mullins, Doug Mullins and Richard Mullins.

Eddie was a retired employee of Celanese Acetate in Narrows with 37 years of service. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed bear hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and friends. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 50 years, Jo Ann Lucas Mullins; two daughters, Renee' Mullins Harvey and husband Barry of Peterstown, and Kimberly Mullins Williams and husband Jeff of Richmond; four grandchildren, Chelsey Harvey, Austin Harvey, Brandon Harvey, and Miles Williams; a sister, Sandra Lovell and husband Dwight of Pearisburg; a precious cat, Windy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13th, 2015 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows with Rev. Bobby Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service Sunday from 6 to 8 PM.
