Brett Lee Wright

Brett Lee Wright, 35, of Narrows, VA. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Brett was born on September 11, 1985, in Bluefield, WV and was a son of Jacqueline Sue Gibson Wright and the late Billy Gene Wright.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Gibson, one sister, Jo Beth Gibson and a nephew, Brody Condrey.  Brett made his living at laying Stonehard and being on the road.  He loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting and shooting his guns.  He loved the company of his family and friends.  Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Alexis Nicole Wright of Wytheville, one brother, Billy Wright (Jennifer) of Narrows, two sisters, Belinda Wright (Cody) (Halla) of Narrows, Joy McGuire of Narrows, nieces and nephews, Kendell Condrey, Colton Condrey, Peyton Gibson, Bentlee Gibson, Terrence Gibson, Shane Gibson, Lisa Gibson and Amelia Gibson.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 3, 2021, at 2 pm at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor Tony Robertson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service from 1 – 2 pm.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
