Bessie Burnease (Wall) Haymore Bivens

Bessie Burnease Wall Haymore Bivens, 89, of Narrows, VA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2024.  Burnease was born on October 26, 1934, in Giles County, VA and was a daughter of the late Phlegar Penkey Wall and Thelma Irene Conley Wall.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Coolidge Haymore, her second husband, Russell Edward Bivens, 4 brothers, George Wall, Carl Livingston Wall, Penkey Edward Wall, Marl Jennings Wall and 2 sisters, Lola Lucille Clemons and Dorothy Stowers.

Burnease was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  

She is survived by 3 sons, Daniel Coolidge Haymore (Debbie) of Vinton, David Eddie Haymore (Cindy) of Narrows, Darrell Ellis Haymore (Susan) of Pearisburg, 3 daughters, Donna Smith (Dr. Eugene Smith) of Knoxville, TN, Linda Cain (Gordon Grant) of FL, Sharon Thomas (William) of CO, grandchildren, Jeremiah Haymore (Emily), Joshua Haymore (Nicole), Stephanie Telusma (Ernso), Jackson Haymore, Dugan Haymore (Becky), Fran Haymore (Hunter Smith), Christina Smith, Daniel Smith (Emily), Scott Clingenpeel (Cindy), Kathryn Accetturo (Phillip), and David Thomas (Jessie) many great grandchildren whom she loved dearly, brother, Richard Wall (Jeanette) of Narrows and 4 sisters, Mary Kay Walker of Salem, Linda Mann of Peterstown, WV, Louise Stowers of Clearfork, and Jean Ferguson of Narrows and many nieces and nephews.
