Barry Eugene Harvey

Barry Eugene Harvey, 54 of Narrows, VA went to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 29, 2020. Barry was born on December 1, 1965 in Pearisburg, VA and was a son of Buster Lee Harvey and Juanita Mann Harvey of Peterstown.  Barry was a true Jesus man, who served God until his last breath.  He treasured spending time with his family, and above all else, dedicated his life to helping the lost find Jesus.  He was a self-employed contractor for many years and was currently employed by Ridge Runner Construction of Peterstown, WV.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Angela Renee Harvey of Narrows, one daughter, Chelsey Renee Harvey of Narrows and fiancé, Joshua Parker of Joanna, SC, two sons, Brandon Eugene Harvey (Carrie) of Peterstown, WV, Austin Ryan Harvey of Narrows, four brothers, Alvin L. Harvey (Brenda) of Peterstown, Melvin W. Harvey of Bozoo, WV, Ronnie D. Harvey (Julie) of Peterstown, Donnie R. Harvey (Betty) of Lindside, WV, one sister, Vickey A. Reed (Brad) of Peterstown, many nieces and nephews and many special friends.  Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2pm at the Jesus Mission in Glen Lyn, VA with Bro. Johnny Powell officiating with burial following in the Keaton Cemetery in Greenville, WV.  The family will receive friends at the Givens – Riffe Funeral Home in Narrows Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 pm.  We will be observing Covid-19 precautions, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.  The family is being served by Givens-Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
