Willis Earl Lindsey

Willis Earl Lindsey, 74 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday night, December 25, 2018 at his home.  Mr. Lindsey was born on November 10, 1944 in Pearisburg and was a son of the late Benjamin Samuel Lindsey and Ossie Lee Sadler Lindsey.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Howard Lindsey.  Mr. Lindsey was a retired employee of the Ethan Allen Furniture factory and former employee of Pulaski Furniture.  After retiring he loved to farm.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Faye Gray Lindsey of Narrows, one daughter, Lisa Faye Lindsey Rice (Thomas Eugene Rice) of Pembroke, one son, Earl Dwayne Lindsey of Pearisburg, one brother, Ross Lindsey (Katherine) of Pearisburg, one sister-in-law, Doris Lindsey of Pembroke, three grandchildren, Breanna, Megan and Thomas Rice all of Pembroke and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1pm at the Riffe – Givens Funeral Chapel in Narrows with Pastor Pete Dunford officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 – 8pm.  The family is being served by Riffe - Givens Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com
