Kimberley Jean (Davis) Martin

Kimberley Jean Davis Martin, 58 of Bastian, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her home. 

A native of Pinellas County, St. Petersburg, FL, she was born on July 1, 1960 To Loys Randolph Davis and Edna Jean Evans Davis.  She was raised by her daddy, the late Melvin Lester Spence and her mother.  Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Melvin L. Spence, her husband of 19 years, Jerry Lee Martin and a grandmother, Beulah Domminy.  Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, Kevin Andrew Martin and Brittany Baker of Tazewell, two grandchildren, Bentley Andrew Martin and Hensley Grace Martin of Tazewell, plus some she claimed as grandchildren, Montana Stafford, Tyson and Ariana Asbury of Rocky Gap.  Her aunt, Mary Lee and Leeland Haywood of Charlotte, NC.  Two sisters, Vicky Martinez and Clifford Herndon of Houston, TX, Lynn and Thomas Dial of Colbert, GA, two brothers, Ricky Lyn Davis, Randal and Mary Davis both of GA.  Several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special sister-in-law and friend, Brenda Sue Martin of Princeton, WV, and several special friends, and her Playas family. 

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11am at the Riffe-Givens Funeral Chapel in Narrows with the Pastor Paul Looney officiating with burial following in the Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11am before the service.  Memorials may be made to Bastian Union Church, 29 Bears Trail, Bastian, VA, 24314 or to Liberty Baptist Church, 1548 Old Hollow Rd, Winston-Salem, NC, 27105 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.  The family is being served by Riffe - Givens Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
