India Alderson Bryan

India Lea Alderson Bryan 93 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Springfield Center in Lindside, WV.  Mrs. Bryan was born on January 3, 1926 in Lewisburg, WV and was the daughter of the late Roy Alderson and Nannie Burdette Alderson.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald Alexander Bryan, one brother, Charles Alderson.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Narrows, she was very active in the church including being a member of the C.W.F., served as group leader, worship leader in Group 1, a member of the choir and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.  She belonged to the Rose Garden Club and the American Legion Auxiliary both in Narrows.  She is survived by, one son Daryl W. and Scherry Bryan of Sevierville, TN, one daughter, Nancy B. and J.D. Klapp of Grifton, NC, four grandchildren, Scott and Tahlia Bryan, Timothy and Mindy Bryan, Michael and Rebekah Klapp, Stephanie and John Sabbagh and eleven great grandchildren, Tucker, Parker, Paisley, Luke, Jake, Makena Bryan and Cara and Cole Klapp, Madeline, Jacob and Rachael Sabbagh and special friend, Allie Riffe.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Riffe – Givens Funeral Chapel in Narrows with the Minister Terry Kornegay officiating.  A private burial service will be held Monday.  The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel two hours before the service from 12 – 2pm.  The family is being served by Riffe - Givens Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
