Clara Gail Myers

Clara Gail Myers, 62 of Narrows, departed this life on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017.

A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on October 8th, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Jasper Edward and Edith Clara Goad. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Perdue; two sisters, Gladys Harrison and Cynthia (Cindy) Fortner; a former husband, Tom Sexton; and a grandson, Skyler Denson.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrell Myers; two daughters, Chasity Blankenship of Narrows and Brittany Sexton of Harrisonburg; two sons, Jason Sexton of Narrows and Timmy Williams wife Trina of Narrows; five grandchildren, Breanna Blankenship, Autumn Blankenship, Kristen Williams, Ryan Williams and Zeke Denson; two great-grandchildren, Daniel Reynolds and Desmond Reynolds; her beloved dog, Winston Myers; a brother, Jack Goad and wife Shirley of Pearisburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, including a very special friend, Sandy Greer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Staffordsville. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
